Elevator pitch.......NOT

Its humpday and its 2pm. Here's a little fun article I found that will entertain you'll . Enjoy!

Annoying Things To Do On An Elevator

1) CRACK open your briefcase or handbag, peer Inside and ask "Got enough air in there?"
2) Grimace painfully while smacking your forehead and muttering: "Shut up, dammit, all of you just shut UP!"
3) WHEN arriving at your floor, grunt and strain to yank the doors open, then act as if you're embarrassed when they open themselves.
4) Announce in a demonic voice: "I must find a more suitable host body."
5) MEOW occasionally.
6) STARE At another passenger for a while. Then announce in horror: "You're one of THEM" - and back away slowly
7) SAY -DING at each floor.
8) SAY "I wonder what all these do?" And push all the red buttons.
9) MAKE explosion noises when anyone presses a button.
10) STARE, grinning at another passenger for a while, then announce: "I have new socks on."
11) WHEN the elevator is silent, look around and ask: "Is that your beeper?"
12) TRY to make personal calls on the emergency phone.
13) DRAW a little square on the floor with chalk and announce to the other passengers: "This is my personal space."
14) WHEN there's only one other person in the elevator, tap them on the shoulder, then pretend it wasn't you.
15) PUSH the buttons and pretend they give you a shock. Smile, and go back for more.
16) ASK if you can push the button for other people but push the wrong ones.
17) HOLD the doors open and say you're waiting for your friend. After a while, let the doors close and say "Hi Greg, How's your day been?"
18) DROP a pen and wail until someone reaches to help pick it up, then scream: "That's mine!"
19) BRING a camera and take pictures of everyone in the lift.
20) CALL out "Group hug" then enforce it.

Happy humpday all!!

There are two kinds of dreams. There are dreams that we have while asleep and dreams that we have while we are awake. What is the connection between the two types? Both kinds of dreams are about the yearnings that are held deep inside us. Some of these desires are so secret that we dare not share them even with our closest friends. Those of us that dare to put our dreams down on paper are showing the courage to hope that they will come true-Anonymous

Paradise Point Reyes

This last weekend I found my new favorite place Point Reyes. It is located in Marin County approximately 30 mi (48 km) WNW of San Francisco. It was a 2 and half hour drive from Downtown San Jose. The last 30 minutes of the drive being very curvy gave me the worst car sickness ever. BUT it was totally worth it when I set my eyes on this.

At 11:30am we began our hike. The trail from the vast blue ocean to the poison-ivy covered forest to the magnificent 3 layered waterfall was awaiting me. After a 2 hour sweaty tired walk we arrived at the first waterfall drop. I would have jumped in the water except it was freaking COLD. The descent to the 2nd drop was a little intense, since we had to cross over the water. Standing 4 feet from 2nd waterfall I thought I was in heaven. Oh no, that wasnt it the best view, then followed the main waterfall onto the beach.

You know that song 6 feet from the edge by Creed. If you had to put an image to this song, this is what it would look like

The waterfall runs straight into the ocean, this is the most beautiful sight i've seen since my baby niece was born in =)

Every now and then,
when the world sits just right,
a gentle breath of heaven
fills my soul with delight...

Remember Me

OK, I just got back from watching the movie - Remember Me. IT WAS AN AMAZING MOVIE. I DON'T HAVE WORDS TO DESCRIBE THE EXPERIENCE, JUST PLEASE DO GO WATCH IT.

If you haven't watched, please please please go watch it.
If you aren't going to watch it and want me to spoil it for you by telling you about it. Tough luck. I am NOT going to spoil it for you. Seriously its 2 hours and $10 worth spending on. It's NOT a chick flick about love and relationships. ITS ABOUT LIFE. They really could have done a better job on the trailers and on publicity. It hasn't deserved its true reviews. I SO want to talk about it but like i said, I don't wanna spoil it for those who haven't watched it.

Just want to end with a quote from the movie, “Almost everything you do will seem insignificant, but it is important that you do it” - Mahatma Gandhi

Values vs Temptation

This post is long overdue, I wanted to write about this after Tiger Woods gave his formal apology . I started writing as well but got caught with other things. This morning as I was driving to work listening to JV Mornings (BTW great show, best way to spend your time on the way to work) JV was discussing whether Jay Z would or has ever cheated on Beyonce. Most Jay Z fans said, hes a successful business man and Beyonce is so beautiful he would never do that, he knows better than to cheat. To which JV said - well Tiger Woods was a smart business man too. Period. And then, 3 women have come forward claiming they had affairs with Jesse James (Sandra Bullock's husband). This got me thinking about how I feel about cheating.

Tiger Woods offers a formal apology.
The real apology will be his behavior. His speech is just words put together by his publicist. I stopped listening after 5 mins cause its all b##s###. Money, fame and gender has nothing to do with human desire. Even a poor infamous guy/girl would cheat.

I was in a relationship where my ex left me for someone else. I can give a bunch of reasons for our break up but the truth is tht 'someone' else was there, when I wasn't. No apology, no action could makeup for how upset I was when he said he liked another woman. That day - it was over for me . Its fine, am over it now. I have moved on so has he, and we are good friends today.

Shit happens in everyone's life and circumstances make you do good/bad things. Tiger's wife played a role in him cheating. You have to clap with 2 hands ;)
I believe that there's a wrong and right in life. But we are all humans and hence do wrong sometimes. So what, shit happens. What's important is you don't hurt another or yourself. Right?

PS: I don't mean to hurt anyone nor am I hating on men. Its just an opinion. Please don't get offended ;)

Just curious or..

I was asked by my friends about why I started blogging, so I thought, hey that's a great piece to write on. (Nowadays I tie everything to blogging, make mental notes in every conversation. When I am in the gym, when am trying to sleep, talking to my friends, watching TV... my mind automatically tunes into blog-mode).

I can break it into 2 possibilities, either it's about giving into something like succumbing to peer pressure or it's just plain curiosity. Peer-pressure..What is REALLY driving us to give into - C'mon, everyone's doing it!. Is it because we don't want to be tagged as an outcast or are we just big-eyed.

Here's what I think, I think I am just plain inquisitive. Like for example blogging, I was curious to know how I would fit in the blogging world. I wanted to know if I could write and if I had things to talk about. I am all about discovering myself, my likes, dislikes, etc. Hence my blogger name, don't get me wrong I am not arrogant, I am well aware that I am just a mere thread in the tapestry of life. Take Facebook , I had a friend who was not signed onto it. This guy is super paranoid about having his info/pictures,etc online. BUT he caved, he signed onto Facebook eventually, his reason - ' This is purely for my work, to market my company'. I was like, yeah right ;) I think all reasons/excuses come down to either your curious or you want to fit in. I guess there's no real answer to this, its as ambiguous as the answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything = 42.

My advice to people out there, don't be afraid to admit what your doing and why your doing things. Its your life and your answerable to yourself. So believe in yourself and like I always say ' Whatever floats your boat, honey!' ;). Adios and thanks for reading.

“I have no particular talent. I am merely inquisitive.” - Albert Einstein
