best...quotes...ever!!

I may be 'just' a mere thread in the tapestry of life, but I am a shiny one ;) - Me

I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you learn to appreciate them when they're right. You believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself...and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together. ~Marilyn Monroe

Jealousy is simply and clearly the fear that you do not have value. Jealousy scans for evidence to prove the point - that others will be preferred and rewarded more than you. There is only one alternative - self-value. If you cannot love yourself, you will not believe that you are loved. You will always think it's a mistake or luck. Take your eyes off others and turn the scanner within. Find the seeds of your jealousy, clear the old voices and experiences. Put all the energy into building your personal and emotional security. Then you will be the one others envy, and you can remember the pain and reach out to them. ~Jennifer James

I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best. ~Marilyn Monroe

I do not try to dance better than anyone else. I only try to to dance better than myself. ~Mikhail Baryshnikov

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. ~ Marianne Williamson

Be miserable. Or motivate yourself. Whatever has to be done, it's always your choice.~ Wayne Dyer

Sometimes I wish I were a kid again; skinned knees are a lot easier to fix than a broken heart. ~Anonymous

You know that place between sleep and awake, the place where you can still remember dreaming? That's where I'll always love you, Peter Pan. That's where I'll be waiting. ~Tinkerbell

fall in love or fall in hate.
get inspired or be depressed.
ace a test or flunk a class.
make babies or make art.
speak the truth or lie and cheat.
dance on the table or sit in the corner
life is divine chaos. embrace it.
forgive yourself. Breathe.
and enjoy the ride. ~Solbeam

TIME PASSES. EVEN WHEN IT SEEMS IMPOSSIBLE. EVEN when each tick of the second hand aches like the pulse of blood behind a bruise. It passes unevenly, in strange lurches and dragging lulls, but pass it does. Even for me. ~Stephenie Meyer

There are two kinds of dreams. There are dreams that we have while asleep and dreams that we have while we are awake. What is the connection between the two types? Both kinds of dreams are about the yearnings that are held deep inside us. Some of these desires are so secret that we dare not share them even with our closest friends. Those of us that dare to put our dreams down on paper are showing the courage to hope that they will come true. ~Anonymous

trust.

Today I googled 'trust' (yup, you know its trouble when you google sh*t like that haha)

Wikipedia says - Trust , reliance on another person or entity. Having faith in others and believing them.
I didn't like that meaning so I googled some more until I stumbled at this
"Smelling isn't everything" said the Elephant. "Why," said the Bulldog, "if a fellow can't trust his nose, what is he to trust?" "Well, his brains perhaps," she replied mildly. - C.S. Lewis

Haha, now thats my kindof thinking! :)

As natural and essential as it seems, why is it so hard to trust. What is it about trust that scares me. Is it the fear of being hurt? Nope, Ive been hurt a million times before and survived, in fact grew stronger. So why does it always seen so hard and impossible.
If you trust too much you might be deceived, but if you don't trust enough you might live in agony. How much is enough? When is it too much? Urgh!! Again so many questions? And whats the answer ' Just go with the flow, play it by the ear'.

Ima tell you this, I will trust but I will be cautious too. The day, you wrong me - YOUR OUT. I will not think twice before showing you the door. I gave you a chance and you f**ked up!. Deal with the loss.

Phew!, on a lighter note ima leave you guys with a song I really like and I guess it sort of have relevance to this post. Sortof! La Roux - Bulletproof

PS - There's a study on trust, check it out. So cool

B2MF...Oh yes I am!!

So today I signed up for the Tough Mudders Race - Tough Mudder is the TOUGHEST one day event on the planet. This is not your average mud run or boring, spirit-crushing road race. Our 7 mile obstacle courses are designed by British Special Forces to test all around toughness, strength, stamina, fitness, camaraderie, and mental grit. Forget about your race time. Simply completing the event is a badge of honor.

More info on this race - Marathon running is simply boring. And the only thing more boring than doing a marathon is watching a marathon. Road-running may give you a healthy set of lungs, but will leave you with as much upper body strength as Keira Knightley. At Tough Mudder, we want to test your all-around mettle, not just your ability to run in a straight line, on your own, for hours on end, getting bored out of your mind.

I am totally scared, excited, pumped up for this. Me and 10 other co-workers are taking part in this race. We are called Team B2MF(Big Bad Mudder Fudders)
Captain Steve Smith( Colleague and also an Ex-Marine) will be conducting some workouts. We have 5 months to train and plan on working out about 3 times a week. We really will be doing this as a TEAM!

RAWRRRRRRRRR!!

Commitment to the team - there is no such thing as in-between, you are either in our out - Pat Riley

One thing that scares the hell out me is

Elevator pitch.......NOT

Its humpday and its 2pm. Here's a little fun article I found that will entertain you'll . Enjoy!

Annoying Things To Do On An Elevator

1) CRACK open your briefcase or handbag, peer Inside and ask "Got enough air in there?"
2) Grimace painfully while smacking your forehead and muttering: "Shut up, dammit, all of you just shut UP!"
3) WHEN arriving at your floor, grunt and strain to yank the doors open, then act as if you're embarrassed when they open themselves.
4) Announce in a demonic voice: "I must find a more suitable host body."
5) MEOW occasionally.
6) STARE At another passenger for a while. Then announce in horror: "You're one of THEM" - and back away slowly
7) SAY -DING at each floor.
8) SAY "I wonder what all these do?" And push all the red buttons.
9) MAKE explosion noises when anyone presses a button.
10) STARE, grinning at another passenger for a while, then announce: "I have new socks on."
11) WHEN the elevator is silent, look around and ask: "Is that your beeper?"
12) TRY to make personal calls on the emergency phone.
13) DRAW a little square on the floor with chalk and announce to the other passengers: "This is my personal space."
14) WHEN there's only one other person in the elevator, tap them on the shoulder, then pretend it wasn't you.
15) PUSH the buttons and pretend they give you a shock. Smile, and go back for more.
16) ASK if you can push the button for other people but push the wrong ones.
17) HOLD the doors open and say you're waiting for your friend. After a while, let the doors close and say "Hi Greg, How's your day been?"
18) DROP a pen and wail until someone reaches to help pick it up, then scream: "That's mine!"
19) BRING a camera and take pictures of everyone in the lift.
20) CALL out "Group hug" then enforce it.

Happy humpday all!!

Paradise Point Reyes

This last weekend I found my new favorite place Point Reyes. It is located in Marin County approximately 30 mi (48 km) WNW of San Francisco. It was a 2 and half hour drive from Downtown San Jose. The last 30 minutes of the drive being very curvy gave me the worst car sickness ever. BUT it was totally worth it when I set my eyes on this.

At 11:30am we began our hike. The trail from the vast blue ocean to the poison-ivy covered forest to the magnificent 3 layered waterfall was awaiting me. After a 2 hour sweaty tired walk we arrived at the first waterfall drop. I would have jumped in the water except it was freaking COLD. The descent to the 2nd drop was a little intense, since we had to cross over the water. Standing 4 feet from 2nd waterfall I thought I was in heaven. Oh no, that wasnt it the best view, then followed the main waterfall onto the beach.

You know that song 6 feet from the edge by Creed. If you had to put an image to this song, this is what it would look like

The waterfall runs straight into the ocean, this is the most beautiful sight i've seen since my baby niece was born in =)

Every now and then,
when the world sits just right,
a gentle breath of heaven
fills my soul with delight...
~Hazelmarie ‘Mattie’ Elliott, A Breath of Heaven
